ICE Cleaning’s December Employee of the Month

On Tuesday 3^rd January, Zac Hemming, Co. Founder and CEO at ICE Cleaning, revealed the Company's December employee of the month.

ICE Cleaning’s December employee of the month was announced as Lee Arnold. Lee serves as a Specialist Technician in the Operations Team at ICE Cleaning.

The award was given to Lee for his great work attitude and ongoing commitment to his role and the wider team, particularly during difficult personal circumstances. Despite battling cancer, he has remained positive and continued to help the rest of the team where possible.

Commenting on his time at the Company, Lee stated:

"Well, what can I say about ICE Cleaning... My start at ICE Cleaning was rocky having gone into the hospital before my very first shift, which isn't how I'd hoped to begin my career at the Company. I went into the hospital with a problem with my appendix, which shortly after turned out to be cancer, and from the moment I told ICE Cleaning they've done absolutely nothing but look after me and my family through this tough situation.

"Considering I’d only worked at the Company for 3 weeks at the time, the level of care and attention I’ve received has been overwhelming and heartwarming. It’s a massive joy to know that the Company really does look after its staff, and winning this award is a very proud moment in my life. From the bosses and area managers to technicians and office staff, you couldn’t ask for more from the co-workers at your workplace. It’s not just a team, it’s a family.

"I’d like to say a massive thank you for this award and for the help and care I’ve received. ICE Cleaning all the way."

Zac congratulated Lee on his achievement and shared the following:

"We introduced the Employee of the Month award towards the end of last year to reward those who deserve to be acknowledged for their efforts and attitude towards their role at ICE Cleaning, however, the winner of December's award goes above and beyond this. Lee has not only remained committed to ICE Cleaning throughout a difficult phase in his life, but has inspired others while doing so through his positive mental attitude, high spirits and incredible resilience.
