ICE Cleaning Appoints New Senior Technician

ICE Cleaning recently celebrated the promotion of Harry Aedy, one of the Company's longest-serving members of the Operations Team, as he takes on a new set of responsibilities as Senior Technician.

Harry celebrated his first work anniversary at ICE Cleaning last Friday, having made the switch from commercial window cleaning to specialist cleaning in summer 2021. Over the past year, Harry has established himself as a key member of the Operations Team, proving his dedication to both personal growth and helping others wherever possible.

Harry commented, "I’m very grateful and excited to fulfill my new role as Senior Technician at ICE Cleaning. I feel that this is a good opportunity for myself and the team to elevate working together as well as empowering each other. I’m confident in being a pillar of support and knowledge for my team if and when needed. I’d like to thank ICE Cleaning for this opportunity and their confidence in me."

Commenting on the milestone, Daniel Louder, who has served as Head of Operations since March 2022, shared, "Since joining the Operations Department at ICE Cleaning, there have been many fantastic points of note - one of which is the attitude and work ethic of our technicians.

"With numerous different service lines, the majority of which require specialist equipment, training, and methods, it is easy to find yourself in awe of this team. Harry has really stood out and led by example. No job is too big or too small. Customer focus and sensitivity are always at the front of his mind, too.

"With Harry's background in commercial window cleaning at height, he is always happy to draw on his skills and knowledge and give advice to other technicians if ever needed. This opportunity is very well deserved and he is a fantastic asset to the team."

Going forward, Harry will gain a number of new responsibilities, including assisting with stock management, supervising large jobs, running training sessions for junior technicians, and acting as a designated spokesperson for any technician ideas and issues. This new level of seniority will further unite the Operations Team, providing another layer of communication and insight for the Senior Management Team.
