ICE Cleaning Shows Dedication To Helping The Economy

During what has been an incredibly difficult time for many businesses and households across the globe, ICE Cleaning has gone above and beyond to support the British economy in a state of crisis. 

With youth unemployment up by 13% as a result of the pandemic, ICE Cleaning’s Founding Directors, Zac Hemming and James Reynolds, sought the opportunity to do their part for the local community. Making use of the government’s kick-starter scheme, ICE Cleaning has been able to specifically target 16- to 24-year-olds for new roles, offering a number of opportunities for both graduates and school leavers. 

The company has recruited 33 new members of staff since the beginning of January 2021 and is currently advertising 7 vacancies, including roles both in the field and in the office. Regardless of prior experience, the company is dedicated to providing professional training for all employees.

Zac commented, “In order to provide a high-quality service, it’s paramount that our workforce feel happy in their roles. Our workforce are our biggest asset, which is why we take care and pride in finding the best person for each position.

The cleaning services industry is traditionally very male-orientated, but we’re hoping to change that. As proud sponsors of West Ham United Women, and as a young, dynamic company, gender equality is a matter close to our hearts. We’re proud to share that 60% of our entire workforce is female.”

The size of ICE Cleaning’s workforce has almost trebled since December 2020 and is predicted to expand significantly over the coming months. The first quarter of 2021 also saw the appointment of several senior figures whose industry knowledge will aid the company going forward. 

James added, “This is such an exciting time for ICE Cleaning. With a wealth of professional expertise across a range of roles, Zac and I are confident that the latest additions to our team will be able to provide valuable insight as we enter a new phase of growth.”  

Since launching in 2017, ICE Cleaning has taken the British cleaning industry by storm. The UK’s cleaning experts previously revealed 700% growth year-on-year, as well as the release of their brand-new, industry-leading website. Alongside great financial success, ICE Cleaning’s focus on diversity and inclusion in the workplace is set to take the company to a new level.
