ICE Services Group’s Co-Founder & CEO Reflects On 2023 

Zac Hemming, Co-Founder and CEO of ICE Services Group, looks back on the tremendous year the Company has had and shares his thoughts on what lies ahead in 2024.  

Looking purely at the numbers, we have had a fantastic year. Last year, we carried out over 4,000 cleans – including nearly 1,000 mould remediations, over 500 fire restorations, and 72 trauma cleans. Revenue has also continued to follow its upward trajectory since the Company was founded and grew by 17% in comparison to 2022. 

The team celebrated several significant milestones, as well. At the start of the year, the Company was shortlisted for Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Awards and won an Acquisition International Global Excellence Award in July. We launched our commercial cleaning services, too, which was followed shortly by the start of a three-year office cleaning contract with the managed office provider Kitt.  

The Company has also invested heavily in geographical expansion this year. Several new technicians have been hired in Scotland and the North of England to significantly improve coverage in these areas and ensure that we can now carry out our diverse range of services in even the most remote parts of the UK. 

On top of this roster of achievements, ICE Services Group has seen lots of changes this year. In December we announced that we launched three new businesses to sit alongside ICE Cleaning: ICE Thermal, ICE Drainage, and ICE Pest. We are now able to offer a much wider array of services to our domestic and commercial customers including thermal insulation, drain maintenance, and pest control.  

ICE Services Group is starting 2024 as a bigger, better company. The entire ICE Services Group team and I are really looking forward to seeing what this year has in store for us.
