Our technique for dealing with hard surface oil spills is fast and effective.
As a professional cleaning company, we have access to a vast range of industry-leading cleaning methods. Once all health and safety precautions have been correctly implemented, we can separate the rest of the process into 3 simple stages:
Control
Perhaps the most important part of the oil clean-up process is identifying the root cause and controlling it. This could involve turning off ignition sources, lifting a container upright or stopping a pump.
Contain
Once our technicians are certain that the source of the oil spill has been controlled, they’ll use robust equipment to contain the liquid. This can prove particularly difficult on hard surfaces as a smooth texture allows liquids to spread quickly. Our team will also block the oil from entering any drains in order to prevent the biohazard from contaminating the environment.
Clean
After containing the oil in a suitable material, our technicians will treat the oil with chemicals before using a vacuum to draw all traces of oil from the site. We will then decontaminate the affected areas using a non-toxic, non-abrasive solution to provide a safe environment for our customer to return to.
