ICE Cleaning Announces Its Employee Assistance Programme Initiative

ICE Cleaning is pleased to announce the introduction of its Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), in association with Health Assured, aimed at supporting staff with their personal and professional problems.

Since the Company was founded in 2017, ICE Cleaning has grown exponentially with the hard work and commitment of its employees. This initiative provides a range of tools and services for colleagues when they need support.

As part of this, a guidance and advice network is available day and night to provide employees with help when they most need it. ICE Cleaning puts the well-being of staff at the forefront of business operations.

Often the situations faced its technicians and employees can be upsetting in nature, requiring a discreet and sensitive approach. ICE Cleaning's staff treat customers with respect and professionalism in difficult times to deliver services such as:

It hopes to use this initiative to assist staff with the stress of their working lives.

The Company is committed to protecting the health of all its staff across the business. It recognises the challenges faced by employees on a daily basis, and this initiative is just one of the steps it is taking to support its employees.

Having happy employees increases comfort and happiness within the workplace. It also helps to improve productivity during working hours, as staff are satisfied within their roles.

In the programme, there are many things on offer for employees. One of these is life support, including counselling and the option for structured therapy sessions. Additionally, bereavement support is open for workers who have lost someone.

Alongside this, legal advice on a number of issues is available, as well as medical information and online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). All services are free to use, with the option for immediate family members and children to be appointed to the scheme as well.

One of the services available is the 'My Healthy Advantage App', which has a variety of features. These include:

  • Perks & discounts
  • Weekly mood tracker
  • Live chat and support

Other ways employees can access help is via an online well-being portal and a dedicated helpline. The well-being portal offers counseling support and a wealth of information in its library. The helpline is open round the clock and - depending on the level of coverage - is offered for immediate family members.

In everyday life, it is important that workers have time to care for themselves. Access to the app through their smartphone means that support is there at the touch of their fingertips.

Recently, ICE Cleaning was proud to celebrate i-Recognise, which is an international movement recognising and appreciating the continued hard work of technicians within the cleaning industry. 

On September 16th, organisations across the world shared stories, hashtags and artwork on social media to raise awareness.
