Mould spreads quickly via invisible mould spores and, if left unchecked, can take over your property.
What is mould?
Mould is a type of fungus that grows in environments that contain excess moisture. The UK provides an excellent climate for mould, and it can grow at any time of the year, but it’s most prevalent during colder seasons.
When mould matures, it produces airborne spores that are invisible to the naked eye, and it spreads to seek out suitable areas to grow. Mould requires damp, warmth, and organic materials to feed off, which often includes dead or damp surfaces like wood, some types of fabric and building materials.
Request a moisture survey
Our moisture surveys can assess the level of damp in your property and the kind of mould growing in it. The survey consists of taking a sample of the mould using a pump which forces pressurised air into a collection device. This mould is then sent off to a lab for testing.
By knowing the kind of mould present, we can pinpoint the best course of treatment for your particular situation.
