What to do if your private landlord fails to remove mould
If your property has mould, you must contact your landlord immediately to inform them of the infestation. You should also email a follow-up to this call to create a paper trail, keeping track of all interactions.
Your landlord must tell you when the mould removal will be conducted, and you will likely continue to pay rent during this period.
